News & Information Internet-Project caucasustimes.com is a product of Medium Orient Information Agency, a private non-profit organization.

The Caucasus Times Agency is an independent, free and objective source of news and information with special focus on human rights and the rule of law in Caucasus Region. Network of correspondents embraces all regions of Southern Russia (Chechnya, Ingushetia, Dagestan, Kabardino-Balkaria, Karachaevo-Cherkassian, Adygea, Northern Ossetia, Krasnodar and Stavropol regions) and Transcaucasus region (Armenia, Azerbaijan and Georgia). Headquarter of the project is located in Prague, Czech Republic.

During the period from 2004 to 2007 under review, Caucasus Times was quoted by 2332 Internet sites. Overall number of references to Caucasus Times materials during the period of its existence reached 560440. Apart from that, Caucasus Times news and information materials were published in a number of central and regional Russian newspapers and information agencies and were taken by the news programs of a number of international and Russian radio and TV stations.
